Vinaigrette - Traditional

Preparation time: 6 min.

Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoons wine vinegar (red, white, raspberry)
  • 1 teaspoon of grain mustard — optional
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Ground Black pepper — to taste
  • 10-12 tbsp olive or ground nut oil

Method

  1. Put the mustard if using it in a bowl add the vinegar, salt and pepper.
  2. Then beat in the oil.
  3. Taste and add more seasoning if necessary
  4. N.B as a measuring guide work with 1 part vinegar to 3 parts oil
